1. Connect
Save one Stripe and one Flutterwave configuration per gym. GymLinx automatically uses the correct test or live environment and the gym’s membership currency.
Growth and Enterprise
Bring your own Stripe or Flutterwave gateway.
Use your gym's supported provider account for member checkout and settlement. GymLinx still records the payment, membership access, and Pay As You Grow fee.
2. Verify
Stripe webhook setup is automatic. For Flutterwave, save the one-time URL and secret hash, confirm setup, then complete verification with the first correctly signed event.
3. Collect
The provider settles member payments to the gym. GymLinx adds the applicable service fee to the gym’s monthly invoice.
How billing works
- • Verified provider events use the gym's plan service-fee percentage.
- • Unverified or unsupported records use a fixed price-band fee instead of trusting a self-declared amount.
- • The monthly usage invoice lists BYO fees, cash-payment fees, adjustments, and credits separately. Your GymLinx base-plan subscription is billed separately and is never added to this usage invoice.
- • The provider's own processing charges and settlement timing remain subject to the gym's provider agreement.
Webhook health
- • Webhooks let GymLinx confirm payment status and activate membership access exactly once.
- • A failed webhook produces a warning and guided repair steps.
- • Unconfirmed Flutterwave webhook details cannot collect member payments.
- • New BYO membership activations are blocked after 48 hours of unhealthy webhook status.
- • Existing member access is not removed immediately because a webhook needs repair.
Before you connect
Eligible plan
The gym must be on Growth or Enterprise.
Supported provider
BYO currently supports Stripe and Flutterwave. Paystack is not supported.
Membership currency
The gateway inherits the gym’s default membership currency from Gym Settings. It does not convert plan prices.
Safe environment
Staging accepts test credentials only; production accepts live credentials only. Gym owners cannot override this boundary.
Billing method
A valid GymLinx billing method is required for plan and usage invoices.
Clear member checkout
Members see the membership amount and all applicable fees before payment.
